Trains!

Ethan wanted a train table (really I wanted one so that all the trains were not set up on my floors all over the house!) So since my hubs is talented in that area (and we don't have $300 to buy the one at pottery barn!) he went to the store, got some wood and built one in about 1.5 hours and a fraction of the cost! How fun! Ethan helped a little too : )

Wow! Good job Darin! Michael and I were just talking about getting a train table for Noah yesterday. He's a little young yet, but we were just thinking ahead. Michael will have to take notes on Darin's table so he can make one for us eventually!

quite impressive . . .Ethan looked like quite the helper too!

Train tables are great for building legos too when they get older.

OH the train table that I keep asking nick to get for elijah....although nick makes a GREAT point...Elijah has so much BRIO train stuff that it would NEVER fit on a table. In fact we have to set in on the floor because it literally takes up 1/4 of the playroom when all used. But wow, what a GREAT JOB on the table Darin. If we ever decide to get one(perhaps for legos...great idea) then we will have to get some instructions from Darin.

Great job on the table, Darin! And in just an hour and a half...wow! I always wanted one for Josiah, but couldn't afford them either! (or didn't want to pay the hundreds of $$) And my hubby will be the first to tell you he's NOT so handy! Now it's kinda late, since Josiah's 4 1/2...he's playing more with cars/trucks now. He looks so cure in his big boy bed, too! I love watching our children sleep & to pray over them. It erases all the frusterations through the day. =)
