Ethan and I filled some shoe boxes full of fun stuff for some sweet little boys this Christmas. Don't you love doing stuff like this with your kids during Christmas time??? Its such a good opportunity to teach them.

Getting ready to fill the boxes. Surprisingly, he only asked me to keep two of the toys.
We were having a little lesson in being generous and thankfulness as we were filling the boxes. I showed him the pictures of our two Compassion children and told him that these toys would go to kids like them who don't have a lot of food or toys. Now every time we pray at lunchtime he prays for Lucy and Birtukan. After the prayer he will say...and now they have food and toys since we prayed for them. If only it were that easy sweetheart :)
